About MechX Robotics

MechX Robotics was founded to bring a higher level of robotics to Central Indiana. We believe students cannot fully unlock their potential when they are limited by available school resources, equipment, or competitive opportunities. Our mission is to create an environment where students can grow as innovators, leaders, problem-solvers, and teammates through advanced robotics education and competition.

Our coaching staff brings both experience and passion to the program. Coach Gibson offers firsthand knowledge of the competitive robotics world, having competed in the VEX IQ program for four years and earning multiple awards throughout his career. His experience as both a student competitor and mentor allows him to guide students through every aspect of robotics, including engineering design, strategic thinking, teamwork, programming, and competition preparation.

At MechX Robotics, students are challenged to think beyond the classroom, compete at a high level, and develop skills that prepare them for future success in STEM fields and leadership opportunities.
